have you ever been out with your friends and just taken a moment to really watch who you are with? I went to see twilight with my friends, and then we met up with millie and her husband and as i sat at the table at the bar, i watched my friends laugh and dance for just a few minutes. I have AMAZiZING friends. Thier laughter is intoxicating. It even cheered up poor Clay, who was having a bad week. Sarah brings this light to the room that just oozes confidence, and also she always looks like she has this great secret that she'll tell you about later. Tisa is flirty and fun, and even though she thinks she gives off a weird vibe, i think the opposite. She's my person, and i love laughing with her. Millie is just fun. She makes everyone comfortable, and tells the best stories. She always looks like she's ready for anything.

There are these moments when you know the people you chose for family are the absolute right choice. I've picked better than most. When people ask why i moved to dallas, I always say "because my friends were moving here". Granted, I graduated first, so techincally they followed me here (), but really, as much as i miss new york, i know I made the right decision coming here. I need them in my life. That moment I took to sit back at the bar was like a slow moment in a movie sequence. Slow motion of us laughing, dancing, smiling...its the best thing in the world to watch, and even better knowing its not a movie, but my life, my life that i share with these fantastic people.

The next night I got to see Deanna, who just got engaged, and its like watching a new couple--they've been together forever, but they just look at each other so happy and in love, and its neat knowing i will get to share that special day with them.

moral of the post: my friends are perfect. when you get to the point in life where you get to chose your family, i picked the best there is.

yeah, i decided it had too long since i blogged. (granted, i blog more often on my myspace, but you know, i can manage both.)

So, this was a great sports weekend for my teams! Baylor rocked it against the aggies--41-21! Sic Em Bears! It makes me super thrilled. And then my Cowboys won also against the redskins! It totally changes the wildcard settings, so we are still in it! I have to work next week's game against San Francisco, but that will be fun. Then i get to actually sit there and WATCH the game for Thanksgiving. How super exciting is that!!

i am trying to finish up grad school at UTD, next semester i can only take 12 hours and im not happy about it. Im taking 18 right now and I still have too much free time. 12 hours? i'm going to drive my friends crazy!

I had the greatest 25th bday party that a girl could ask for. Kamapalooza 25 was fantastic. i'll add some pics, but it was just lots of fun and I have the most amazing friends. if you are one of the lucky few who went, you know I was so happy you came and am so blessed to have such amazing people in my life.

On the radio, they were talking about new year's eve plans. Already? Its only November! But then I decided to start thinking of my resolutions, and I found my list of resolutions from last year. Its interesting on what i accomplished and what i didnt. It's amazing how a year ago, I figured matt and i would be living together by now, and really just settling in our lives together. and then i think about it now and think---WAS I CRAZY? i can't believe i let myself fall so hard so fast, and vow that I won't let that happen again any time soon. I mean I love my life right now. I can really live. And although it can get lonely at times, I'm so glad im on my own. I love not having to answer to anyone. So, I plan on taking the next few weeks to set reasonable resolutions (so...giving up french fries--so not happening) and working on making my life even more perfect. 25 is going to be a great year for me!!!

Thats about it, I'll try and update more and make that an early resolution--blog on life more!

So i knew id finally break down and look up a good wieght loss program online. I found one...and if its any good ill pass it along to my dearest friends. (bc..if youre not my friend...why would tell you how to look cute...for all i know youre the competition. so there).

I know i know...i like my appearence. However, I want to see the look on my dumb family's face if i lost a few pounds before graduation. (may 13--be there or be square).  So...pray for my sanity, and pray for my will power, because i suck at diets....im too busy for them..but well see how this goes. other than that...im about to do some homework, get crap done...oh and finish some laundry. exciting saturday nite i know...but im still recovering from yesterday. Millie and I started around 4...and ended around midnite....soo special. Well have a good day!! Toodles!!
